Peak Leaves in New York

Portage Canyon, Genessee River, in Letchworth State Park, New York sees peak leaves and warm weather.  Carved out of the limestone by Devonian era by the last continental glacier, Letchworth is a national treasure.  So beautiful that William P. Letchworth’s niece was moved to write:

“God wrought for us this scene beyond compare
But one man’s loving hand protected it
And gave to his fellow man to share.”

Yes, the terrier has a piece of pepperoni on her butt.  Bad parents.
